Hey guys. This past week's been a pretty hectic one for me, but in a good way! Firstly, my cousins came in town! Had a great time with them at the mall, In N Out burger, and Six Flags. It's always great to see them, especially since they live a good distance away.


Six Flags was really crazy. We went on the weekend, (which we typically don't do), and the place was PACKED. I wanted to go on the weekend because there was a concert there I really wanted to see (Friday is Forever Tour: We The Kings, Hot Chelle Rae, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Summer Set, Action Item). Well, before I go on my crazy spill about the concert, I'll talk about the rides... I ACTUALLY RODE A CORKSCREW ROLLER COASTER. Yup. I rode Batman, Shockwave, Mine Train, Sombrero, Runaway Mountain, Judge Roy Scream + many others! SO MUCH FUN.


Now to the concert... First up was Action Item...never heard of them before...but THEY WERE AMAZING! Like really, really gooooooooooooood. Next was Hot Chelle Rae...oh my gosh I love them. Ever since I heard "Tonight, Tonight" on the radio, I've become obsessed. "Say (Half Past Nine)" and "Alright" are pretty incredible too :) They played "Tonight Tonight" last and I kinda screamed my heart out to that! The lead singer's cute too :3 :P Next was The Summer Set...and they were amazing. And they had an album come out today...or yesterday lol. They sang "Chelsea" which made me really happy ^_^. Then We the Kings played which they were PHENOMINAL. Like ohmygoshamazing. They played A LOT of songs (including my favorites!). Then FTSK came on and THEY KILLED IT (in a good way :P). They were amazing!!!!!

Also saw the midnight showing of the last Harry Potter. That was amazing...plus I kinda cried in the end 'cause it's the last movie :').

Then, a week later my mom and I go see Anarbor in concert! There are AMAZING live...like really awesome. I stood in the front row :3

Then came softball nationals. Did pretty well! Won 2, lost 2 brackets...so we finished middle of the pack, but we played some pretty tough competition.

Well that was a crazy month of July! Byes<3

Kinda pointless post

So I guess you can see some things I really like... Nerd sunglasses and band bracelets :) I love both those things. 5/8 of the bracelets have come from concerts I've been to, the other three I just like :-p And my sunglasses I just tend to get when I feel like it lol

This song has been on my mind a lot lately. It still, just a
year after discovering this band (Mayday Parade), is still as beautiful as the day I first heard
it (except the fact that I don't cry anymore ;)). I love
beautiful music...I love the heartfelt lyrics, compassionate tone in the
artist's voice, and personally, I think acoustic versions of songs add
sensitivity to the music. Lyrics that make your heart melt (like the song above), just gives me a indescrible "beautiful and happy" feeling inside. I enjoy music I can relate to.

That band has never broke her heart and has yet to leave her. It's no wonder she finds such joy in her music- Alex Gaskarth

The Beach

So I completely forget to mention this, but a few weeks ago I went to the beach for vacation... It felt so nice just to be away from everything and to be in the sand and ocean. We (my family and I) went to this old-fashioned candy store/ ice cream parlour and we rode a ferry to this other island. Anyways, here are some pictures from the week :)

Went to the lake for a picnic and photoshoot with Clara and Bailey :) It felt so good to take pictures again...with friends, I mean. The water in the lake felt amazing in the summer heat.

mkay so I know i haven't posted on here in a while...so I'm gonna give you a recap of my past 2 months (it's been this long? Really?!)... Well my fave days in March go something like this:

April 8th: All Time Low concert (Dirty Work Tour)
SO MUCH FUN!! This was an album promotion tour (the cd came out yesterday <3). They toured with Yellowcard, Hey Monday and the Summer Set. it was an amazing concert and all the bands sounded awesome. There were definitely more people at this one than any other concert I've been to. It was crazy! Unfortunately didn't get to meet any of the members... but still had a great time overall!

April 9th-10th: Softball tourney
...well after falling asleep in the early morning hours the night before, the late-start games sure felt nice ^_^ The nicest part was WE WON THIRD PLACE in the tourney! :D

April 30th: My best fwand's bday! Happy super late blogger bday Emma! <3

May 5th: Grandfather's bday...Happy Bday PapPap! <3

June 4th-5th: WON FIRST IN THE TOURNAMENT!! GO DBAT! <3 also won mvp of the tourney...Philippians 4:13 : I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me <3 Thank you, God :)

Been working...

Well, I've been drawing quite a lot lately...especially posters. In more detail...music posters. While the super bowl was going on, I drew two posters, while my sister and dad are watching tv, I draw more posters. I can't stop drawing them!!! So, I decided to convince myself that I need to stop doing so...How do I do this? Put them on my walls. I know that doesn't sound like it'll help anything, but oh yes it does! With all the hand-drawn posters I've put in my room, I've reached a problem...NO MORE ROOM ON THE WALLS. Therefore, I've kinda reached a new hobby: Interior decorating... I'm very glad that all the random stuff attached to my walls in attached with tape, if I used thumbtacks, my wall would be polka dotted with holes... So that's been what I've been "working on" lately... Now for some pictures!! ;D

Hey peoples! Guess who's been busy but is updating he blog? ME!! :D Well, not too much to say but ECC was a bunch of fun...dissected a clam, worm, and starfish...verrrrry interesting. Had an amazing time after ECC with Emily! :D This weekend's been pretty sweet so far...softball practice was fun, still getting used to being on a new team, but I'm SO excited for the season to begin! I'm sooo sorry that I'm rambling...trust me, there's more I wanna say:
1. I wanna go to Australia: Mayday Parade and a bunch of my other fave bands are playing in some huge concert there...plus I just wanna go to another continent! lol
2. I love making wall art!! I'm gonna post some pics of that soon!
